If Esteban Ocon surprised all-comers with his rookie form in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship, then Max Verstappen’s debut in car racing positively stunned.
There was something of an ominous tweet on the official Florida Winter Series page recently that appeared to slip most people by. Although the website, which had been closed since this year’s Florida Winter Series concluded, reopened a few weeks ago, it now appears that the series may already be no more.
The Toyota Racing Series revealed its calendar for the 2015 season this week. Maintaining a schedule of five rounds, the series will enjoy three events on the northern island and two in the south, with the series once again concluding with the New Zealand Grand Prix at Manfeild Autocourse.
The new-for-2014 Florida Winter Series is set to launch at Homestead Speedway in eleven days time; however this is one that looks at young drivers in a slightly different way.
